Google PageRank is Dead, It's The Successor
If yes then you should stop the habit from now.
Why?
Because Google PageRank is dead.
Google PageRank is dead?
Google's death issue PageRank actually has been blowing since long, precisely since last October 2013.
It's just that the issue of death at that time was not proven because in December 2013 it turns out Google did update PageRank.
But it has been more than a year since the last update, Google PageRank until now has not updated again.
Many assume that Google PageRank is completely dead and will not be updated again for the future.
This is corroborated by the statement of one of Google's party, John Mueller at one of his videos that the possibility of Google PageRank will not be updated again in the future.
If it's true, what's the replacement?
As we know during this Google PageRank is one of the metric or language tool that is often used to measure how handsome a blog or website in the eyes of Google.
The higher the PageRank of a blog or website it will be more handsome also in the eyes of Google.
But if Google PageRank really is dead then it is no longer relevant to be used as a measuring tool. We need to find another alternative.
Then what about a suitable PageRank replacement?
The answer is easy .... BACKLINK
Backlink is one of the main factors used by Google algorithm to rank web pages on the internet.
So surely there is no better metrics other than backlinks to serve as an assessment of how handsome or cool a blog or website in the eyes of Google.
But the problem .... To assess the quality of a backlink is not enough just by looking at the quantity or number only.
Most beginner SEOers only see backlinks of the numbers only. The more backlinks it means the better. Not so.
Blogs with 1 million backlinks could be considered ugly by Google if the backlink comes from the Spam site.
Blogs with 10 backlinks could be considered super handsome if the backlinks are from the authority site.
Because assessing a backlink is rather difficult then we need to find other alternatives that can be used to measure the kegantengan a blog or web.
Well .. Domain Authority and Page Authority is one of the best alternative that can be used as a substitute for Google PageRank.
What is the Domain Authority and Page Authority?
Domain Authority and Page Authority is a metric used by one of the SEO companies called Moz.com to predict how strong a domain and also web pages can appear in top search engine results.
The Domain Authority and Page Authority valuation system is almost similar to Google PageRank. If Google PageRank uses a score between 0 to 10, theDomain Authority and Page Authority use a score of 0 to 100.
Just as Google PagerRank, the higher the Domain Authority and Page Authority means the better.
Differences Domain Authority and Page Authority
The Domain Authority and Page Authority are the same metric, the Domain Authority specifically for assessing the domain as a whole, while the Page Authority to assess individual pages.
So if your blog using a free subdomain like blogspot.com or tumblr.com then Domain Authority blog buddy will be the same as other blogs that use the same subdomain. What distinguishes only on Page Authority.
How to Check the Domain Authority and Page Authority?
The trick is very easy, just go to https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/
Enter your blog address and click Search
Cover…
It could be Google PageRank it will not be updated again, but the possibility is not really dead alias is still used by Google as one part of the Algorithm. It's just that the PageRank is no longer shown to the public.
Just get here my post this time. Do not forget to check the Domain Authority and Page Authority blog buddy and pamerin in the comment field below.
