This post is a continuation of my previous post about blogging guide for beginners to make money .

For this post I want to specifically discuss about how to make money from blog in detail in the hope can give a little enlightenment for my friend who wants to learn to make money from blog.

Because this post is quite long so I strongly recommend that my friend prepare a glass of coffee and snacks so that later not sleepy in the middle of the road.

This is anyone who makes an article like this, if he has ever made money from blogs, or maybe just writing to mislead people?

The answer, NGGAK, unfortunately there is no intention to mislead people.

The reason why I write this post is because I already have experience making money from blogs and I want to share the experience to readers of this blog.

I've known blogs since 2010, and have started to make money from blogs since the beginning of 2013.

Well until now blog is the main source of my income.

Although I personally only a junior graduate , but Alhamdulillah only with blogs that I earn earnings do not lose from the salary of a civil servant, even much larger.

In addition to me, out there are also a lot of bloggers-bloggers Indonesia and abroad that has proven successful from the blog.

I'm sure my friend already knows about it and that's why my friend read this post. You want to be able to follow the footsteps of bloggers who are already successful.

Making money from blogs is not a get rich quick way

In this world nothing is instant.

Instant noodles that he said instantly can not be eaten directly with the wrapper.

Everything needs a process.

Making money from blogs is also like that, it takes a process.

As I mentioned above, I know the blog since 2010 but only recently can make money from blog in early 2013. That means two more years I blog without producing anything.

Successful bloggers that I know are also mostly blogging for years before they can successfully generate a lot of money from their blogs.

Here I just want to emphasize that making money from blogs is not impossible, but not at all easy and not a way to get rich quick.

Blogging is only for people who have the patience and perseverance to learn continuously until it can make the blog as a source of income.

Know two types of bloggers

Before I go any further, there are some other important things to know first.

In this world two types of bloggers. The first type is blogger blogging not because of money , and the second type is blogger who blog for money .

Both types of bloggers are both able to make money from blogs, but specifically for bloggers who blog because money is usually the process to get to make money will be much more difficult. The reason is because there are many new things that need to be learned.

Examples like this:

Bloggers who blogging not because money usually from the beginning already has good writing skills. While not all bloggers who blog because money has writing skills.

I personally am an example of a blogger who from the beginning blogging does not have good writing skills. It took me a long time to write this way. That is one of the reasons why for 2 years more blogging I can not produce anything.

If you feel like a blogger type blogging because simply want to make money, so please note that many new things that need to be learned.

5 steps to make money from blogs

The steps to make money from blogs are actually not complicated, just the process requires patience and high-level persistence.

There are at least 5 steps you need to skip. These steps are:

1. Determine the topic and target of blog readers

The first step is to determine the topic and also the target readers blog.

Before you create a blog, my friend should already know what topics will be discussed in your blog and also have determined who the target visitors to your blog.

2. Create a blog

After finding a suitable blog topic, the next step of course starts to create a blog.

If my friend is still just learning blogging, I suggest to create a free blog at blogger.com.

3. Create quality content

Just having a blog just is not enough to make money. Next buddy needs to fill your blog with quality content.

Without quality content your blog will not have any visitors. Having a lot of blog visitors is one of the keys to the success of a blog.

4. Promote blogs

Currently the number of bloggers in Indonesia is very much that means the competition will be more stringent.

Only capitalize the quality content is not enough to be able to get a lot of visitors, my friend also needs to promote your blog.

5. Determining the right monetization method 

Well the last is the process of making use of blogs that have been built with difficulty in order to make money.

This process is commonly called " blog monetization ", or the Indonesian language " monetize blog "

There are so many monetization methods that can be done, my friend should be able to find the right method for your blog because not all blogs suitable for monetization in the same way.

7 Ways to make money from the most popular blogs

Below is a list of the 7 most popular monetization methods that bloggers often use to make money from their blogs.

Most of the monetization methods below I've done, but there are some that I have never personally tried.

But the obvious method of monetization below is the proven methods.

1. Place an Ad

The first is the most popular among the most popular, namely by advertising on blogs.

To monetize blogs with ads there are two paths you can choose.

The first is by signing up for the Advertising Networks program or the advertising network.

Second is by offering directly to prospective advertisers to advertise on your blog or commonly referred to as Direct Advertising.

Advertising Networks

Advertising Networks or advertising network is a service program that connects advertisers with website owners or blogs.

Well if you want to make money from a program like this, my friend just need to register to the advertising network program, then my friend will be given an ad code that needs to be installed on the blog.

Earned earnings are usually calculated every time there are people who click on ads on your blog or commonly called PPC (Pay Per Click).

One of the most popular Advertising Networks programs in Indonesia isGoogle AdSense .

Direct Advertising

Unlike Advertising Networks, Direct Advertising is a method where you offer directly to potential advertisers to advertise on your blog.

The advantages of this method is the income of your blog can be much higher because the ads are installed on the blog is not through third party intermediaries.

The price of advertising itself varies, generally adjusting to the amount and quality of the end of the blog.

Although my friend can get higher results, but this way can be spelled out is not easy. The reason is because my friend should be able to find potential advertisers who are willing to advertise on your blog.

2. Paid Review

Paid reviews or paid posts is a method of monetization where we earn revenue by reviewing products or services owned by people through posting on our blog.

Basically it is no different from Direct Advertising, only difference if Direct Advertising ads in the form of a banner ads, while paid review ads in the form of posting reviews.

The last method of monetization is to sell blogs.

So you make money by making blogs continue to sell these blogs to others.

And believe it or not, in addition to what I have written above, there are many other ways that can be done, from a straightforward way to a way that is not true.

My suggestion, if indeed my new friend to learn blogging, then do not make money as the main focus. Because I'm sure it does not take long time my friend will decide to stop blogging.
