Well, that's what the title means: D. This tutorial actually has a lot of requests, but only now can be realized. This tutorial is also a continuation of my previous post related to this tutorial that is How to Create Subdomain in Blogspot . For those who have not read, please be first. Ok, go ahead. How to Move from WordPress to Blogger
If previously I ever made a post containing a tutorial on how to move blogs in blogger to wordpress , this time I want to share the reverse tutorial, that is How to Move from WordPress to Blogger.
Truly for how to move blogs in WordPress to Blogger is very easy. It's just that the problem is we can not set the permalink in blogger. If we move blogs in wordpress to blogger then automatically all post URL will change and result ... lost visitor .. backlinks lost .. so almost the same as building a new blog.
But with a little trick this problem can be a little overcome, although you could say the trick is not so easy alias rather difficult. The trick is to take advantage of the Special Transfer feature in blogger.
By using the custom fitu switch we can permanently redirect the old post URL to the new post URL in Blogger MANUAL. Yaps !! Manually .. which means if your blog has a lot of posts then this way will take a lot of time and energy.
So make sure the blog you want to move buddy does not have many posts. At least not hundreds or even thousands.
Oh yes, just a reminder. WordPress I mean here is WordPress.org or WordPress hosting itself is not free WordPress (wordpress.com).
Immediately just over time just make confused.
The first step:
The first step you need to do is mecatat all post URL and also the page (if any) in the blog wordpress pal.
After that stay mate save in Spreadsheet or file. Txt also not a problem
Just note the URL of the back only, domain name can be removed.
Step Two:
If the URL has been painted all, then go to your buddy dashboard pal pal, clickTools> Export
After that click the Download Export File button .
Third step:
Next go to http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/ upload the file Export results earlier and click Convert
Well now we already have a file that we are ready to import to blogger.
After this what else ya sob?
Step Four:
After this please buddy create a new blog on blogger. If you already go toSettings> More and click blog import
Upload the Convert result file in step three above, input captcha and clickImport Blog
In this step all the posts and also pages on WordPress blog pal have been successfully moved to blogger blog.
Step Five:
The next step is definitely directing your domain to a new blog that you have created in blogger. For the tutorial itself can be my friend googling, because if I write here then the post so long really like a train. Xixixi.
Step Six:
In this step I assume that my domain has been successfully redirected to a new blog on blogger. The next step is almost the same as the first step, which is to record all the URL of the post and also the page that is on your new blog.
Step Seven or Last:
Well now we show the manually transitioning the old version URLs to the new veris URL. How to sign in your blogger dashboard, click Settings> Search preferences> click edit in the Custom redirects section
If you have, please note the picture below:
Number 1: Fill with the old URL
Number 2: Fill in with the new URL
Number 3: Check to have the URL permanently redirected
Number 2: Fill in with the new URL
Number 3: Check to have the URL permanently redirected
Now do this redirection on all posts and also pages on your blog. Do not forget to click Save changes.
Done ... ..
I know this is the most inefficient and time-wasting way to have to manually redirect. But here's my experience yesterday when moving WordPress blog to Blogger.
For a friend who may have another way more simple there is no harm in sharing through comments.
thanks.
